Evan 4 & Ella (almost) 3

So I had a chance to sift through some of the photos! I've still gotta work my way through Macayla and Mason's......but that will have to wait another day or two. :)

These two kids absolutely light up my world. Yes, we have our moments where I want to pull all of my hair out......but when I look at these perfect little smiles and get their great big hugs, I can't help but melt. :) They are just incredible and that's all I can say. I love you guys so much!!

Really......???

I am quite certain I'm not ready for this yet!! Evan growing up way too fast, Ella coming into her own personality.......these are my babies and they are growing up sooo fast right in front of my eyes. It makes me sad :(

Joe and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary on Friday....and I was reminded how truly blessed I am to have such an amazing husband and family!! Joe made it home Wednesday and was able to stay throughout the weekend. We had tons of fun while he was here, and my heart breaks every time he has to leave again.

I did some fall pictures of the kids over the weekend and I don't have enough time or energy right now to sift through them all, so here are a few to tide everyone over until I have time to edit and post more!!

Dear Dr.,

can you guarantee this will make my house germ free before daddy comes home........TOMORROW!!!!??
The kids and I have been feeling a little under the weather lately......I started it and Evan is doing a great job at reminding me that I was the one to get everyone sick!! :) Gotta love kids' honesty!! From the looks of the picture above, it looks bad, but really we only 'probably have' a virus. And of course this is medication for 3 people. Here's to getting better.

B.F.F's Rock

Grandma found these adorable shirts for the girls.......too cute!! Pretty much sums up their relationship.

A few more fair.....

It must be said that my kids had a wonderful time at the fair last week!! As I'm sure every kid did. However, next year I'm planning on taking out a small personal loan in order to attend the fair!! :) My kids could have lived at the slide if I would have let them......which was fine with me because it meant I could just stand to the side and watch them have a good old time!! We were very lucky that Joe was able to be home a few days for the fair to enjoy the kids riding and of course the food!!

Here we are riding with Ashlyn and Holden......

Little Miss Independent wanted no help going up and down the slide!! Aside from needing a little assistance putting her towel down once she was at the top......she's so funny.

Evan always starting a little early in order to 'beat' everyone to the bottom!! :)

Look ma......no hands

Ella on the Ferris Wheel all by herself.......Evan was too tall on Wednesday to ride this one....even though he was short enough the whole week prior.....?? He does grow fast.

It's a Fair Thing.........

The kids and I met up with Jamie and her boys: jackson and gavin, to ride some rides friday night at the fair!! Life really doesn't get better than this does it......? i kid, i kid......i think!! My kids were so excited to be able to ride with Jackson and Gavin they could hardly contain themselves. I mean we made a quick stop at our sitters camper to say hello, and they were yelling at me to leave cause Jackson and Gavin were waiting.......this is very unlike my kids when it comes to visiting our sitter.....they absolutely love Pat.....so you know it's serious when they don't even want to visit her!! ;)

We're hoping daddy will be in tomorrow to come with us to the fair.....especially since mommy keeps telling them no games until daddy is here to play with us!! I'm REALLY hoping daddy gets here soon......I'm not sure how much longer I can hold them off!! hahahaha

Here they are in the belly of the dragon!!! Yikes......which about a minute later I had to get into too cause Gavin was too small to ride alone!! :) Jackson wasn't sure about this ride, but he agreed to ride with us......I think he enjoyed it.
Waiting on the ferris wheel......Evan never wanted to ride this last year, and he still looks skeptical (can't say I blame him, it is a fair ride) but he rode cause Jackson and Gavin were riding. Peer pressure is a great thing......right??

What's the fair without a corndog covered in ketchup??

Here's Jamie taking ALL 4 kids to the top of the slide!! Hey, someone had to watch the strollers!! :) I think secretly she enjoyed it!! Evan also hated this one last year cause I may have slammed his head on the slide at the bottom........but he really enjoyed it this year. Apparently he can't remember last year's incident!! lol I'm pretty sure we spent about 20 minutes at this one riding then getting back in line then riding then getting back in line.....you get the picture. They don't call it the Fun Slide for nothin!!

Ahhhh the cars.......
Thanks Jackson, Gavin and Jamie.......we had a blast. Let's meet at the cars again!! :)
