to the Junction

the Gingerbread Junction that is!!  Because I don't have a crafty bone in my body......I take my kids up to the YWCA in town and let them decorate their own houses.  The Y provides the houses (already assembled), candies for decorating and the clean up crew for when my kids destroy their area!!  Does it get any better than this??!!  They also have a small craft fair in the building, so I can get some shopping done too!!  Heaven!!  :}

Check out this concentration!!

Even Santa makes an appearance!

Tractor Time

The kids always look forward to Pappa coming up and taking off the field!!  And now that I'm home all day, it was really easy to 'catch' pappa in the combine.  Ella was home from school that day, so she got to ride for quite a while!!  And when Evan got off the bus, he got his turn too!!

HaLLoWeEn

Then there was Trick-or-Treating at the campground at the beginning of October.  Evan went as Batman and Ella went as Wonder Woman!!  She had to correct everyone that called her Super Woman......duh!  Hey, don't judge, mom couldn't find a Wonder Woman costume.....so the next best thing was this.....and I didn't tell her any different!!  ;}

Macayla and Mason came out and went around with the kids to collect their loot!

Mason didn't keep the tractor on very long......but it was very cute!!  His mom did a good job with his costume!

Kids Weekend

The campground we camp at had their annual kids weekend at the end of September......and the day couldn't have been more perfect!!  Each kid brought a friend and they played and played and played!!  There were several bounce houses, carnival games, face painting and lunch was served!!  The kids had a blast and they were worn out by days end!!  :}

SuperStar

My little fearless princess!  :}

Wild Life

Some of the creatures we've seen since living here are pretty cool!!  When school started this past year, I started noticing a lot of deer on our property!!  While waiting for the bus two different times each morning, we've seen quite a bit of activity.  Look real close around the middle of the corn field for the deer down the driveway!  I started getting real nervous about letting Brutus out in the morning without scanning the yard first!!

Then there was the crane!!  It's directly to the right of the house in the background (kind of blends in with the tree).......and check out Brutus on the move!  Too cool.  The crane of course escaped unharmed!!  ;}

It's The Most.....

.....NOT Wonderful Time of The Year!!  I love Christmas just as much as the next guy, but trying to get both of my kiddos to cooperate for a photo is nearly impossible!!  Guess we're heading out this evening to try again.......I'll get my Christmas card out, it'll just be a little late!!
