Sick Baby Girl... =(

Our little Miss Independent is extremely dependent right now! As many of you know Ella has slept through the night ever since she was born....great for mom and dad right!! I've never complained about that. But the one thing Joe and I have really missed out on is cuddling her and rocking her to sleep. Because she's always just wanted to be laid down to go to sleep. Always....since birth!

So I must say I've been loving the past day. Even though Ella is extremely sick and not at all her very active self. She's actually letting me cuddle her and rock her to sleep and just enjoy holding her. These pictures I took of Ella while I was doing laundry today. This is the position she stayed in for a good 30 minutes....and for those of you who know Ella....very unusual...unless of course she's sleeping. So please enjoy these pictures of my precious baby.

Wedding Dresses.....

Well we knew the day would come....just never thought it would be this quick!! :) Ella was too exhausted to look at any more wedding dresses she went into hiding! We went to pick up Wendy's dress last night and Ella was loving the desses....it was super cute. And of course Wendy's dress was georgous! But no pictures of that.

Doggie Style!!! :)

I had a special request for a post with the dogs.....so here they are. Our Doberman, Brutus, and our Miniature Pinscher, Harley. And even though most people think these two dog breeds are related, that is not true. They have no identical blood lines.....even though Harley just looks like a miniature Brutus. Gotta Love Um. And because I thought Brutus looked scary enough without having his ears pinned, we didn't get his ears done.

HAPPY 1st Hadley & Mae

So yesterday we celebrated Hadley and Macayla turning ONE this coming week. We had their party at the same bowling alley that Ella's was at, and I'm convinced that we may need to do that from now on because Evan LOVES bowling!! He gets so excited when he finds out we're going and he's really excited when his ball knocks down the pins. It's very cute.

Here are the girls, Hadley first then Macayla....then of course my kids too!!

Home Again

So Joe and I spent the weekend away from the kids and headed south to Chattanooga. Oh my goodness....we're ready to move down there!! It was 68 degrees both days and we loved it so much we dreaded coming back to Ohio....aside from seeing the kids. We've only returned to get the kids and we're moving soon!! :)

I am always in awe seeing how different the country looks once you're out of Ohio. I loved driving through the mountains and just seeing the georous horizon...even with the leafless trees and dead grass. Still very awesome. We went to Chattanooga for a camera workshop for me, and while I was there Joe went golfing all day. He loved it. The bartender Friday night recommended a Jack Nicklaus course that was near...and Joe was very thrilled to get to golf there. I of course learned tons of valuable info at my workshop.

On the way home, we stayed Saturday night in Kentucky. We found some info about lodging and golfing packages, so we took advantage. We stayed in a very cool lodge near the 'Niagara of the South', Cumberland Falls....that was awesome. Then Sunday before we headed home, we shot 18 holes in 68 degree weather!! Yes, I'm a little sunburnt. We were very glad to get a weekend away and thank everyone who helped with the kids and dogs, and we are very glad to be home...even if we did come home to two sick kids!! Always Love my life and my Family! :)
