After ALL the walking we did downtown Chicago, we got in the van to head to Lego Land!! It was about a 45 minute drive.......so the kids got in a quick nap before the next round of excitement!!
If you've never been to a Lego Land before.......we highly recommend going!! This is the second Lego Land we've been to and they are just really cool to experience!! All the buildings, animals, structures, characters, etc. you will see in these pictures were created from Legos!! AMAZING!! And the city scape has everything from the skyscrapers to the flowers lining the streets!! It's just really incredible. Chicago had a special room dedicated to Star Wars, which was pretty cool too!! There are also interactive areas (which I didn't photograph) where the kids can build race cars and towers, and a play area with jumbo (soft) legos for massive tower building!! So cool for the kids (and adults)!!
The room also dims and the buildings light up to represent night time......how awesome is that!!??
