Not only did we have Evan's last week of preschool this past week, we also had the kids' last swim class! Add on a few other things and this weekend became busy real fast! :} Sometimes good and sometimes bad. Ella has always done really well in swim class.....I'm convinced she's part fish!! hahaha. Evan on the other hand.....he has never wanted to get his face wet, so you can see how this could create a problem at swim lessons. Needless to say the past three weeks the instructor has had me bring Evan to an additional class. So we've been attending two swim classes each week for the past three weeks. And let me tell you.......Evan has really excelled in those last three weeks!! We are so proud of how far he has come with his swim lessons. And we are just as proud of how well Ella does at swimming!!
Striking poses prior to swimming.....
Class begins Making our way to the deep end to perform our jumps!! Always the ham! lol No longer hesitating to jump!! Yeah!! Has never hesitated to jump!! lol Off the block. Now onto big boy stuff......the Diving Board!!
Evan has completed his first year of preschool. I can hardly believe it, but it's to be expected. He's such a little grown up it amazes me! He really loved school, made a lot of new friends and completely enjoyed his time in Mrs. Owens's class. Lucky for him he will have Mrs. Owens next year too!! He was really excited to find out that she would again be his teacher. :} He is growing up to be such a wonderful little man, and I'm so proud of him!! Great Job Buddy!!
The Pledge of Allegiance to begin the show
Evan and his teacher waiting for their turn to preform Their 'song' was Jumping and Counting
I've done the unthinkable.......it was such a hard decision to make. Joe and I had been debating for quite a while now on when to do 'it'. And I finally just had to make the decision and get it over with. We'll be giving just short of 12" to Locks of Love......and we still have our beautiful girl who LOVES her new hair cut.......brace yourselves.
What a Wonderful day!! The weather was perfect, the food was awesome and of course the company was fantastic!! In our house we don't celebrate the hallmark holidays, and I'm just fine with that. But that doesn't stop us from visiting with our families on days that are special to them. So I didn't get breakfast in bed or Joe waiting on me hand and foot. It was just another great day of spending time with my family. We were finally able to allow the kids to take their fishing poles, that the Easter Bunny brought them, to the pond for some casting. And boy oh boy did they have a blast!! And I'm pretty convinced that Evan was born to fish......he just does it so naturally it's a little scary!! So please enjoy the (way too many) pictures I snapped of our fishing excursion......
This is our life.......some days completely fun and some days a little frustrating! But our life none-the-less. I love my family and my life and I have a good time documenting it in our blog!! I hope you enjoy visiting. :} Thanks for stopping by.
