Evans Easter

Oh that Easter Bunny.....he sure is tricky!! Evan couldn't believe nobody saw him come in the house....and why didn't the dogs bark? he asked. Oh that Bunny, he sure if Funny!! Well he treated the kids really well this year. Someone forgot that she had went shopping about a month and a half ago. So needless to say, there were lots of presents in the baskets. :-} They love it all and are really excited to be able to use their fishing poles in the pond this summer with daddy.

New Swingset!!!

Grandma and Grandpa got a new swingset and the kids just can't wait to play on it every time they are over there!! Poor Evan got roped into pushing the girls.....he's such a great helper!

Egg Painting Fun

3 kids, 3 adults, 6 dozen eggs, 9 die packs.......15 minutes and done!! I think we may have set some sort of record. :-} Most of the eggs were so pale because the kids would drop them in and let them sit for about 3 seconds then pull it back out. hahaha At one point I'm sure they were racing to see who could color the most eggs. We worked very hard to get the kids to leave them sit......sometimes they did. So us adults went back and recolored some of the eggs so it looks like we did something. Either way, the kids had lots of fun and we'll be eating eggs for quite some time!!

Egg-stra Special

Check out the intense concentration!! There aren't many things that cause my daughter to slow down let alone concentrate this way. Want to know what she's doing.......Yep......all that for a hard boiled egg!! Her favorite!! Add a little salt and every now and then she'll do mustard.......

Ready to Swim

What a beautiful weekend we had!! Minus Evan still being really sick, it was prefect. On Sunday the kids decided they wanted to go swimming........we waded instead! Still a little chilly in the water to actually swim. So the kids got out their buckets and shovels and had a good ol time. Of course Ella decided to sit down in the water (yes, with her clothes on).....ahhh good times. At this point, I'm not sure if we're wind burnt or sun burnt!!

Rainbow Toes

So Pat (my sitter) decided to be real ambitious the other day and give Ella a french pedicure!! I can't even get Ella to sit still long enough to finish a sentence.......let alone a french pedi......amazing! Before I had seen Ella's toes she kept telling me 'Pat painted rainbows on my toes!' So I really wasn't quite sure what she was talking about. My best guess was that every toe was a different color.......until I saw them!! Isn't it funny the things kids think of?

Then after I took the picture of her toes, she insisted I get her face in the picture!! So she struck a pose.....I think that having Evan work on her with pictures is going to Eventually work out in my favor!! :-}

Happiness *

This sight will never get old to me!! If only I had my camera in hand when Ella ran the whole way down to Joe's semi.......that was priceless. :) Out of breath and coughing because she's sick, but ran the whole way just to see daddy. LOVE.
