Cuddling

Well Evan's mommy turned another year older this past weekend....and for those friends that didn't send cards already I'll be expecting money soon!! :) We mostly had a quiet weekend at home. Wendy and Jason came over Friday evening and we ended up playing cards until 2:00am....incredibly late for Joe and I, but we managed to stay awake.

I just received this e-mail from one of my sisters....and I'm sure I've seen it before. But how true it is. I'm sure I hold Evan too much, pick him up when I should let him cry, watch him sleep when I should be cleaning the house and give him way too many kisses every day. And everyone knows I take way too many pictures. Only God knows when those moments will end, and I'm going to take full advantage of my time with him and all the people I love. I hope you all do the same too.

Fun Weekend

This weekend was packed with all sorts of fun times. First we hung out with Jackson and Jamie on Friday night. Then we saw Corbin, Shana, Mamma and Pappa on Saturday. Went out to dinner with Joe's family Saturday evening...and played Uno Attack until 2:00am!! What a fun game. Sunday was spent at home, then off to John and Kay's for supper. Evan stayed the night with Aunt Jackie to give mom and dad a little break. Then Monday Evan and I went to visit Megan, Landon and Ashlyn. Long weekends are always great....just so much to do!!

ASHLYN OLIVIA!!

Here she is.....Ashlyn Olivia the newest member of the family. This is Kevin and Megan's new little girl. I took a family picture....minus Landon....yesterday in the hospital, but when I was changing some of the settings, my computer deleted it! So not happy. But I've got some good pictures of little Ashlyn and they are below. Mom and baby are doing great. She was born January 11th weighing 9 lbs 7 ozs and 21.5" long!! Megan said the delivery went very quickly, so you might notice some bruising on Ashlyn's face in the pictures.

Ok....so I know you've seen this picture before. But I had to post for the Buckeyes today....and this was the only picture I had on my computer. Evan's ready for the big game...even though he'll be asleep shortly after kickoff! Evan is finally feeling better, but now we believe he's teething...so he's still having a rough go at it. One of these days he'll be perfect.....

Hopefully I'll be posting soon with pictures of Kevin and Megan's new little girl!! She's due like any minute now. Hopefully not during the game tonight though. :)

Happy New Year!!

What a week!! Sorry I haven't posted yet....Evan was sick last week and I stayed home from work to take care of him. And without internet access at home it makes it a little difficult to post. But Evan is slightly better today so he is at the sitters and I am once again at work!! The Saturday before x-mas Joe, Evan and I traveled to Mansfield for a wedding of an old college roommate. The wedding was beautiful and they couldn't have asked for a better day. Evan did great for his first night away from home. Then of course there was x-mas and Santa must have thought Evan was a good boy this year....because he treated him very nicely!!
