Sooooo thankful that it's finally nice outside. Perhaps Evan will finally be able to get rid of his cough and runny nose that has been with him for about a month now. :( Poor guy. But today when we got home the first thing we did was put the equipment back onto the swing set and play play play!! Can't wait for the grass to be green and the pond to be warm enough to actually swim in.

New shoes.....

I just can't get enough of these Converse shoes!! Ella had the same pair last year....obviously grew out of them. So I had to get a new pair for this year. And figured Evan could use a pair too. :) The second day they wore these (which was Friday) daddy decided he's let them play outside.....and when Joe wasn't paying attention they made a run for the swingset. Well, it only rained all day, so the yard was pretty muddy. Needless to say, Evan was literally stuck in the mud to his ankles and Ella was a disaster. So glad you can just throw everything in the washer.

My Prince

And now it's my little prince! He complained yesterday of his head hurting, was running a fever, and late in the evening he was vomiting. :( I really think these poor kids just miss their daddy. He should be walking in the door any minute now, so hopefully that will lift everyone's spirits!! We have a couple birthday parties to celebrate tomorrow, so hopefully we'll be well enough to go and enjoy the bowling.

My Angel

The pink pillow and blanket have taken over daddy's side of the bed. The most precious face I've ever kissed has the worst little cough I've ever heard. I wish like every other parent I could be sick so she's not, but it doesn't work that way. Joe left for a few days and Ella got sick, so she's been cuddling with mommy at night. Evan stayed with Corbin one night and poor little Ella was terribly lost. Her sweet voice through the tears calling Evan's name just breaks my heart. But now she sleeps, content on daddy's bed, in daddy's covers after kissing mommy nite nite and saying 'I Love You Too.' My Angel.

February Fun!!

Finally some pictures of Evan.....sort of....when I'm able to catch him without something in front of his face 'hiding' from me. We ran outside this evening when I got home and built a snowman, dug a tunnel and played/snacked in the snow for a little while. Great fun.

She had ate so much snow her cheeks were bright red, so I got out the carrots to keep her occupied....and to keep her cheeks from freezing off!! :)
