Happy 2nd Birthday Ella!!

You know, it's funny how your parents get a kick out of the fact that you have a child just like you were to them......and I now understand, at least the first two years, the torture I put my parents through. Because I have had my ME!!

My baby girl is two today and she's every bit of her mommy's sassy. I certainly wouldn't trade her for the world and I hope my parents can say the same about me. Ella is spunky, sassy, daring, inquisitive, confident and trusting. She adores her big brother, and he loves her and protects her in return. Ella is a complete blessing to this family in every way possible. She was the final touch to our house, she's got such a HUGE personality (some days good, some days challenging), some days she's mommy's girl and some days she's daddy's little girl. And we all LOVE her with all our hearts.

Here are several pictures I'm posting of Ella's short two years. One of these days I'll take some two year pictures and post them.....but I've been reminiscing lately, so you get to too.

Snow Bunnies =:)

So I finally got Ella a pair of snow pants.....the excuse I kept giving Evan because I didn't want to go outside and freeze my butt off. So no more excuses mommy! We're going outside to play.

Potty first - check, three layers of clothes - check, snow pants - check, jacket and hats - check, battle to get the mittens on - check (all of this times 2), mommy coat and camera - check....and off we go.

10 minutes playing in the snow....on the swingset.........priceless!! Which was ok with me since I was already freezing 3 minutes into play time. :)

just because I had to post more than I did last year!! I'm pretty sure I say this A LOT now being a parent.....but seriously time just flies!! New Year's to me means that my baby will be turning another year older (and me too).....I really don't think she should be 2 yet. I mean I'm very glad she's not a baby and she's growing into her personality (I think), but the time is just slipping away. So I hope everyone cherishes this new year and many more to come.

Enjoy the random pictures I snapped this evening before Joe and I went out to dinner and a movie.....Blind Side was very good. Now another 5 years before I get Joe back into the theatre again!!

Final Post.....

of the year!!! :) Had you scared didn't I...?? We had quite the Christmas this year. So busy I'm not sure I've completely recovered from the lack of sleep. The kids really enjoyed themselves and got lots of great gifts from everyone. Joe and I also got lots of wonderful gifts from everyone. Thank you all who sent Christmas wishes and blessed our family with visiting and gifts. We hope everyone has a safe New Year's Eve and a blessed New Year!!
