Why I Love the Country Life!!

Check out this image!! What an awesome sunset we have out at our place....well I'm sure others have it too, but this is why I love living in the country. Luckily my dad called and informed me of this because Joe and I were working in the garage....which is on the opposite side of the building from this view....so I was able to get a few images. Then the next day I had a coyote....yes a coyote....drinking from the backside of the pond. I didn't have enough time to get my good lens on my camera or I would of had an image of that to post as well. But how awesome is that!!? The coyote was a little creepy....but very cool too.

I also want to say CONGRATULATIONS to Wendy and Frank (aka Jason)....they got engaged recently and I just haven't had time to post. I must also say way to go Frank....the ring is spectacular! He had it custom made and did a great job. It's very beautiful.

Fall Pictures and Baby Announcement!!

Here are some fall pictures I took of Evan the other day out at Lincoln Ridge Nursery. It was very cold and then it rained a little, so he wasn't too excited about being out there. But I still got some good pictures. We were there with Megan also, so Landon had a few pictures taken as well. Hope you all enjoy the photos.

Oh yeah.....we finally found out what we're having. I feel like some of you may be curious, so we'll let you know that Evan will be having a little.....did I mention that we're having a party at our house on the 27th? I hope you all can come and hang out with us. We're roasting a hog and ask that everyone bring a side dish. Oh yeah.....back to the baby :) Evan will be having a little sister. Now I just have to pray that Jamie and Josh have a little girl as well otherwise Jamie isn't going to be talking to me for a while. :)

PARTY TIME!!!

We wanted to let everyone know that we're having our 'housewarming' party on Saturday, October 27th. It will be a hog roast and we'll be eating around 7:00pm. Please bring your favorite side dish or appetizer, a chair, and your choice of beverages and come cheer on the Buckeyes with us.

Happy Anniversary!!

I must say HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to my wonderful husband!! It's been two years now....some days it feels like 10...but I love him more than ever. It's great to know I have someone to count on and who counts on me everyday to make our family complete. He's an awesome husband and a fantastic father to our son. I couldn't imagine life without you Honey and I Love You very very much.

He's Home.....

So here he is......and of course we've named him. Brutus....who could have guessed??? Harley is beginning to warm up to him, but I'm sure he's still hoping he'll leave soon. Brutus isn't quite sure about the wood floors yet......it's very comical to watch him try to chase Harley around. Evan loves him....well as much as a one year can love a puppy. He doesn't seem to scared of him or anything and he like giving him kisses all the time. It's precious. Enjoy the pictures. I'm sure we'll have more to come.

Our Newest Addition...

So once again we are pregnant....which everyone knows. So we find it necessary to purchase another puppy!! Joe is finally getting his Doberman. Check out this cutie. We are currently at Jackie's house and getting ready to head over into Indiana to pick him up....so hopefully I'll have more picture soon with him and Evan and Harley. The really great thing about this breeder is that she also breeds MinPins....which is what Harley is....therefore he's grown up around MinPins, so Harley shouldn't be anything new to him. He's only nine weeks old and already outweighs Harley!! Too funny.

First Steps!!!

So our little builder started walking.....well he's beginning to take steps on his own. So not quite walking yet....but getting closer. Over the weekend he took four steps a couple different times. So we're very excited to get him walking. It will be no time at all and I'll be chasing him all over the place. Yeah....

Fair Time Fun

So the fair is going on this week....and even though I'm pregnant I'm still probably going to gain about 10 pounds before this thing is over!!! And Evan probably will too since he's eating everything that mommy is eating and then some. He's really enjoying himself....and he's a big fan of the sugar water....also known as lemonade.

Evan also really enjoys watching the horses when they are going around the show arenas....however he wants nothing to do with actually riding them. There's one area where kids can ride the miniature pony's and we tried to let him ride....needless to say he wouldn't let go of his death grip he had around my neck!! It was cute. Below are a couple of pictures from our evening at the fair. One rider was nice enough to come over to the fence and let Evan pet her horse....he was excited to do that.

Well we found out we're having a BABY!!! The little tyke is breech, so the ultrasound tech couldn't get a clear picture of the sex. So unfortunately we won't know what we're having until it's almost go time! I tried to post of picture of the little one's face from the ultrasound....but of course this wonderful website wouldn't let me load anything this morning. So maybe I'll try later.....not that ultrasound pictures are exciting....I just needed a picture to go with this post!!

Jackie & Mark's Adventure

I added another link to my site that is for Jackie and Mark's Adventure. For those of you who don't know, Jackie and Mark are expecting a blessing of their own in February......yes, the same time Jess and Doug are expecting.....and a month after Joe and I are expecting!!! Yikes....that's going to be a lot of babies. Joe and I are very excited for Jackie and Mark. And Evan is really excited to now be having two cousins to torture!!! Does anyone recognize this child?? Some days he's just too funny. He's really enjoying his applesauce in this first one....and in the second one he's obviously been riding with mommy too long because it appears as if my road rage is catching on..... :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!!!

We have to say Happy Birthday to our little man!! He's turned one today....well the 14th...but I'm posting this now. Check out the fun pictures from the party Sunday....he wasn't sure about the cake at first but after a bit he sunk his hands in and had a great time. My mom made the cake and it was awesome....and it tasted great too.

Evan is the BEST

So I have to brag on my baby....because he's incredible. Everyone....well most people....thought Joe and I were crazy when we started potty training Evan when he turned 10 months old. But what can it hurt right??? Well tonight he crawled into the bathroom, opened the lid on his potty, and clapped his hands when I asked if he had to potty. So I sat him on the potty and he pooped and peed!!! Incredible!! What a big man.

I was just so happy I had to share. I tried to post some super cute pictures of Evan and Ashlyn, but the site isn't allowing me to load them right now. Maybe I'll try in the morning when the site isn't as busy.

Summer Fun.....

Here are some fun images I got last night of Evan while daddy was outside working. Evan wanted to help.....but he couldn't quite figure out that we needed to pack the sand instead of play in it!! So we went off and took some fun pictures. ENJOY!!

Oh and I FINALLY went and saw my Dr. We're figuring that my due date is around Jan. 21st. I'm already 16 weeks along....if the day of my last period is accurate....so she's not doing an initial ultrasound to determine the due date. I'm just going to go in for my 20 week ultrasound and find out the actual due date and the sex all at once!! Yeah. So we scheduled that for the end of the month. So stay tuned to find out what Evan will be the big brother of.....

Just Swingin'

Evan got a new swing!!! He's soooo excited. My sitter tells me he loves the swing at her place, so Joe and I got him an early birthday present. Can you believe he'll be 1 in about 15 days??? Oh how the time flies.

Sorry it's been so long between posts. The site never seems to want to post my pictures....therefore I don't sign on too often because I don't want the headaches!! Sorry. But here are a couple that I did get to load. Evan enjoying bath time and Evan taking a self portrait! Too Cute... :)

Joe and I also want to Congratulate Jess and Doug!! They are expecting in February....which is only a few weeks after we are due.....I think. I will find out my due date next Wednesday when I finally go see the Dr. But if my calculations are correct we're due sometime in January.
