DrumRoll Please.....

Well we found out we're having a BABY!!! The little tyke is breech, so the ultrasound tech couldn't get a clear picture of the sex. So unfortunately we won't know what we're having until it's almost go time! I tried to post of picture of the little one's face from the ultrasound....but of course this wonderful website wouldn't let me load anything this morning. So maybe I'll try later.....not that ultrasound pictures are exciting....I just needed a picture to go with this post!!

Jackie & Mark's Adventure

I added another link to my site that is for Jackie and Mark's Adventure. For those of you who don't know, Jackie and Mark are expecting a blessing of their own in February......yes, the same time Jess and Doug are expecting.....and a month after Joe and I are expecting!!! Yikes....that's going to be a lot of babies. Joe and I are very excited for Jackie and Mark. And Evan is really excited to now be having two cousins to torture!!! Does anyone recognize this child?? Some days he's just too funny. He's really enjoying his applesauce in this first one....and in the second one he's obviously been riding with mommy too long because it appears as if my road rage is catching on..... :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!!!

We have to say Happy Birthday to our little man!! He's turned one today....well the 14th...but I'm posting this now. Check out the fun pictures from the party Sunday....he wasn't sure about the cake at first but after a bit he sunk his hands in and had a great time. My mom made the cake and it was awesome....and it tasted great too.

Evan is the BEST

So I have to brag on my baby....because he's incredible. Everyone....well most people....thought Joe and I were crazy when we started potty training Evan when he turned 10 months old. But what can it hurt right??? Well tonight he crawled into the bathroom, opened the lid on his potty, and clapped his hands when I asked if he had to potty. So I sat him on the potty and he pooped and peed!!! Incredible!! What a big man.

I was just so happy I had to share. I tried to post some super cute pictures of Evan and Ashlyn, but the site isn't allowing me to load them right now. Maybe I'll try in the morning when the site isn't as busy.

Summer Fun.....

Here are some fun images I got last night of Evan while daddy was outside working. Evan wanted to help.....but he couldn't quite figure out that we needed to pack the sand instead of play in it!! So we went off and took some fun pictures. ENJOY!!

Oh and I FINALLY went and saw my Dr. We're figuring that my due date is around Jan. 21st. I'm already 16 weeks along....if the day of my last period is accurate....so she's not doing an initial ultrasound to determine the due date. I'm just going to go in for my 20 week ultrasound and find out the actual due date and the sex all at once!! Yeah. So we scheduled that for the end of the month. So stay tuned to find out what Evan will be the big brother of.....

Just Swingin'

Evan got a new swing!!! He's soooo excited. My sitter tells me he loves the swing at her place, so Joe and I got him an early birthday present. Can you believe he'll be 1 in about 15 days??? Oh how the time flies.

Sorry it's been so long between posts. The site never seems to want to post my pictures....therefore I don't sign on too often because I don't want the headaches!! Sorry. But here are a couple that I did get to load. Evan enjoying bath time and Evan taking a self portrait! Too Cute... :)

Joe and I also want to Congratulate Jess and Doug!! They are expecting in February....which is only a few weeks after we are due.....I think. I will find out my due date next Wednesday when I finally go see the Dr. But if my calculations are correct we're due sometime in January.

So here's an update finally!! Believe it or not I've barely even used the camera in the last month. I think Joe's been using it more than me. Aunt Wendy visited and shared a milkshake with Evan....and the last one is of Evan waking up after a nap!! Too Cute. Enjoy

Harley Swimming.....

Even Harley has been enjoying the pond!! Ross and Alyssa came over for a swim on Saturday.....Evan wasn't quite sure what to think about Ross going under then popping up right in front of him.

Summer Fun!!

How funny is this picture?? He was obviously starving enough that he didn't have time to sit down and drink it.....he just stood against the dishwasher and drank. Too Funny.

We also finally decided to get into the pond on Thursday! It was a little chilly at first....but we need to utilize it before it's frozen over!! So Evan and I got in and daddy got out the camera. Once the initial cold wore off Evan really enjoyed the pond and his floaty.

Oh Happy Day!!!!

We have finally gotten a computer at home!! Yeah....now I can blog whenever I want to. Evan was sooo understanding too.....we spent two hours in Best Buy trying to decide what we wanted and getting all of our questions answered. What a trooper! So hopefully I will be updating this more frequently now than I was before.

Memorial Day Weekend.....

Well we had an excellent Memorial Day Weekend. Joe got a lot done around the yard, and Evan and I enjoyed the beach. My family came out and visited as did Joe's family. Too bad it wasn't really hot all weekend because the pond wasn't quite fit for swimming....even though Ross tried it!! That was funny.

Hopefully you were able to read the shirt! Yes, it's true, Evan is going to be a Big Brother. Joe and I found out we are pregnant a couple of weeks ago.....I believe I'm due in February. Haven't been to the Dr. to confirm yet.....but I'll get there soon enough. Yeah!!

Nine Month Pictures

Nine Months Young!!

Would you know it's out precious baby's NINE MONTH Birthday today!! I can't believe it's been nine months....the time really does fly by. Here are some pictures I know everyone's been waiting patiently for. Sorry the updates are few and far between....we're getting closer to getting our own computer and high speed internet!! Yeah.

Anyway....our little angel is growing so fast it's crazy. He's crawling like crazy and pulling himself up onto everything....so not too long and he'll probably be walking!! He's beginning to talk....well mumble really....but we'll take it. He's growing into his own personality and it's great. We have been very blessed to have Evan in our lives and I hope you all enjoy him and much as we do. Enjoy the few pictures I have put here and hopefully I will get some more up soon. I will be taking his nine month pictures this week....so stay tuned for those to be posted.

Finally some pictures!

It's been a little too long since the last post! Sorry about that. Here are a few from when we hung out at Landon's house....you know back when it was actually nice out and there wasn't snow on the ground!! Evan just loves bath time. And the last one if from Ashlyn's baptism that was this past weekend.

Evan turned 8 months on Saturday and boy is he growing!! He's now crawling like mad, he says mom and dad, and he's getting a mouth full of teeth. I'm a little worried because he's more inclined to use his left hand instead of his right.....both mom and dad are right handed....this could be interesting.

Easter Pictures (Sort of)

Well it's official....I've lost my mind!! I took some pictures Monday night of Jackson for Jamie....she wanted some Easter pictures done, so I offered to take them for her. Well I got Evan all dressed up so that he could be in the pictures with Jackson and I didn't even take any for myself. I used her card in my camera so that she could take them all home with her....and it never occurred to me to put my card in and take more pictures. Evan now has two teeth and he's eating the Gerber starter foods that basically melt in his mouth....but he's learning to chew with his new teeth. And he's learning the whole hand eye coordination thing.....most of the time the snacks hit the floor....but he's improving....and Harley doesn't seem to mind. And he's finally crawling!!! That's funny that I say finally because he's only 7.5 months old. But it seems like he's been ready to crawl for like a month! But he finally did it last night....well he actually did it for Pat (babysitter) first....but he made sure he showed mommy and daddy last night. We were very proud....as you can imagine. :)

Some pictures to update this really quick. Evan got his first tooth on Tuesday!! Yeah...it's the picture with Joe's finger in his mouth....if you can the tooth. And the one on the Harley is Grandpa's new bike! Exciting day when he picked that up.....there goes my babysitter. And I had to add one more from his St. Patty's day outfit....it's just too cute.
