Nine Months Young!!

Would you know it's out precious baby's NINE MONTH Birthday today!! I can't believe it's been nine months....the time really does fly by. Here are some pictures I know everyone's been waiting patiently for. Sorry the updates are few and far between....we're getting closer to getting our own computer and high speed internet!! Yeah.

Anyway....our little angel is growing so fast it's crazy. He's crawling like crazy and pulling himself up onto everything....so not too long and he'll probably be walking!! He's beginning to talk....well mumble really....but we'll take it. He's growing into his own personality and it's great. We have been very blessed to have Evan in our lives and I hope you all enjoy him and much as we do. Enjoy the few pictures I have put here and hopefully I will get some more up soon. I will be taking his nine month pictures this week....so stay tuned for those to be posted.

Finally some pictures!

It's been a little too long since the last post! Sorry about that. Here are a few from when we hung out at Landon's house....you know back when it was actually nice out and there wasn't snow on the ground!! Evan just loves bath time. And the last one if from Ashlyn's baptism that was this past weekend.

Evan turned 8 months on Saturday and boy is he growing!! He's now crawling like mad, he says mom and dad, and he's getting a mouth full of teeth. I'm a little worried because he's more inclined to use his left hand instead of his right.....both mom and dad are right handed....this could be interesting.

Easter Pictures (Sort of)

Well it's official....I've lost my mind!! I took some pictures Monday night of Jackson for Jamie....she wanted some Easter pictures done, so I offered to take them for her. Well I got Evan all dressed up so that he could be in the pictures with Jackson and I didn't even take any for myself. I used her card in my camera so that she could take them all home with her....and it never occurred to me to put my card in and take more pictures. Evan now has two teeth and he's eating the Gerber starter foods that basically melt in his mouth....but he's learning to chew with his new teeth. And he's learning the whole hand eye coordination thing.....most of the time the snacks hit the floor....but he's improving....and Harley doesn't seem to mind. And he's finally crawling!!! That's funny that I say finally because he's only 7.5 months old. But it seems like he's been ready to crawl for like a month! But he finally did it last night....well he actually did it for Pat (babysitter) first....but he made sure he showed mommy and daddy last night. We were very proud....as you can imagine. :)

Some pictures to update this really quick. Evan got his first tooth on Tuesday!! Yeah...it's the picture with Joe's finger in his mouth....if you can the tooth. And the one on the Harley is Grandpa's new bike! Exciting day when he picked that up.....there goes my babysitter. And I had to add one more from his St. Patty's day outfit....it's just too cute.

Life Expressed

My life has been very blessed. I have a wonderful family with GREAT parents that did so much for their 5 children....I'll never be able to thank them enough. My siblings are the greatest in the world and I would never trade any minute of time I've spent with them for anything. I married a wonderful man that loves me very much and I love him the same. We have a wonderful support system in his family. We brought a beautiful baby boy into this world seven months ago, which seems like yesterday, and he's flipped my world upside down!! :) In many many great ways.

I have always been fortunate to find great jobs that allow me to work with wonderful people and that provide me opportunities to meet new people every day. I am now getting ready to embark on a new journey and I hope that these facts will stay true. I have made the tough decision to leave these people I've become accustomed to working with for a new set of individuals that will hopefully be just as great. Yes, my son has had a great impact on this decision, but I will never regret what I've given up for him. This choice I made is the greatest thing I've done.

There are too many people to name, but you all know who you are. I am very sad to give up our daily interactions and I will miss you all dearly. You have touched my life and helped shape me to the person I am today....for that I am forever grateful. My heart is with my son and I am going to enjoy every second of him growing up because it's already happening around me.

Quick Update

Wanted to update this real quick....so here are some pictures we took this past weekend. Daddy, Mommy, a couple of portraits....we had to try out the mohawk....I think this is Joe's way of proving to me that Evan needs a haircut!! I'm still holding out until it's a little longer. And the last one is of Evan trying to 'play' with his toy that we got him for Christmas. Instead of playing with it he decided to destroy it......very cute.

Jackson Turns One!

Evan's good buddy Jackson turned ONE last week so on Saturday we had tons of fun at the birthday party! Jackson wasn't quite sure what to think about all the people in his house, so the cake didn't go over too well. He didn't dive in like everyone was hoping for, but still got a little messy. He did however enjoy his new ball he got as a gift. And of course boxes and wrapping paper are always fun for the little ones. Evan found a new friend....miss Sidney Davis was watching Evan for me while I took some pictures. She was a big help. Then afterwards Evan crashed at home from all the excitement of the day and of course Harley was there to keep him warm! That one....like so many others....was not posed either! Harley laid there all on his own. :)

Weekend Fun!!

This picture of Joe is from the Blizzard of 2007!! There was tons of snow piled up at my mom and dads house.....our nephews were outside sledding......so Joe thought he would join in on the fun! Quite Cute!! Can't wait till he's able to do this with Evan. And the last picture is of Evan and Corbin....we hung out with Corbin at my mom and dads this past Sunday.

SNOW DAYS!!!

What a long last two days!! BGSU was actually closed for two days because of the weather. Which is very unusual for a University. Therefore Joe and I were able to stay home with Evan and play! Hope everyone made it through the storm ok.

Evan turned 6 months young yesterday! What a big guy. He's sitting all on his own....but he's been doing that since about 4.5-5 months old, drinking out of a sippie cup....and holding it all on his own. We still have yet to see any teeth....but some days he's cranky enough to make us believe they are coming soon. He's always loved to stand up and he's now beginning to stand leaning up against the furniture.

Ready to cause some mischief

Quick Update....

Well the Dr. said that Evan's eye condition is just clogged tear ducts. Therefore we go back in two weeks to get his tear ducts 'popped'. Basically they stick a needle in there to open them up and hope that the tears start flowing instead of clogging. This is the first step.....if it doesn't work then we go back for an advanced probe. So obviously we're hoping this first time works.

I must also say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my favorite brother!! :) He will turn 21 tomorrow, the 10th, and we're taking him out for the evening. Should be a great time.......Love You Ross!!

Pre-Six Month Pictures

Well it's been a while since I've updated this.....sorry. Here are some random pictures I took of Evan last night in preparation for his six month pictures. I'll probably end up doing them myself, so I wanted to play around with some ideas. Hopefully when the time comes he won't: try to eat his fist, drool like a monster, have any more eye gunk or have the scratch across his forehead!!

I'm taking Evan to the eye specialist tomorrow (Wednesday) to see what can be done to clear up his eyes. Poor guy can't even get them open in the morning until Joe or I clean them with a hot washcloth......he's very unhappy too when he can't see. Mornings are great!! :) Enjoy the pictures. Please feel free to comment about your favorite setting.....whole bed, close up, with the dog, etc. It will make my decision easier when picture time comes. I've also got some other settings in mind....but didn't include them here.
